John Anthony C. Soriano is a native of Libmanan, Camarines Sur. He entered in the Army on February 1,1986. He enlisted at the First Scout Ranger Regiment. He completed 20 YOTI Training at Ft. Bonifacio, Makati City and SROC at Camp Capinpin, Tanay Rizal in 1986.
John Anthony has served in numerous leadership positions which includes, Team Leader while Deploy in Iraq, Section Leader while deploy in Visayas, Platoon Sgt in Jolo, Bn Chief Operation NCO in Jolo, Sulu, SRTS Operation NCO, Senior Tactical NCO Scout Ranger Course, Training NCO, Ranger Instructor and is currently serving as the Operation NCO for the Philippine Army Non-commissioned Officer Academy. John Anthony C. Soriano’s deployment’s includes: Luzon,Visayas, Mindanao. Foreign countries visited/deployments Geneva Switzerland,Iraq, Kuwait,Turkey, Schofield Barracks Hawaii and Malaysia
John Anthony C. Soriano’s military schooling includes: Basic Enlisted Training Course (Honor Student) Scout Ranger Course, Basic airborne course, Phil. Army Jumpmaster Course ,Parachute Packing Maintenance and Air delivery, Military Free Fall Course (Sky Diving), U.S Air Assault Course, Rappel Master Course, U.S Special Operations Static Line Jumpmaster Course, Infantry Non-Commissioned officer advance Course (Graduating Nr. 1), Instructors Training Course, RP-US Balance Piston Combat Life Saver Training, RP-US Balance Piston Psyops training , RP-US Balance Piston Reconnaissance and Surveillance Training,RP_US Balance piston Small Unit training, Maritime Infiltration Operations Trng and Warrior Leader Course and Cross trained with Instructor training Course at NCO ACADEMY HAWAII and Graduate with honor and Platoon Sergeant Trainer's Training Course.
